Jamaican Jerk Pinwheels

Ingredients

  •    1 - pound Roll Sausage

  •    1 - clove garlic, finely chopped

  •    2 - stalks celery, finely chopped

  •    1 - Tablespoon Jamaican jerk seasoning

  •    1 - Tablespoon soy sauce

  •  17 - ounces thawed package of frozen puff pastry

Mango salsa:

  •    2 - mangos chopped

  •    1 - small can mandarin oranges, drained

  •    2 - green onions - chopped

  •    1 - Tablespoon chopped red onion

  • 1/4 - cup black olives chopped

  •    2 - Tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions - Pinwheels

Preheat oven to 350 F.

  1. In a large bowl, mix sausage, garlic, celery, jerk seasoning, and soy sauce.  Roll out one pasty sheet to 8 x 12 rectangle.

  2. Spread with half of the sausage mixture.  Roll up, starting from the short end and slice in one inch pieces.

  3. Repeat with one more pastry sheet.  Place slices on cookie trays and bake 10 minutes on each side.

Directions - Mango Salsa

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix mangos, mandarin oranges, green onion, red onion, black olives, and parsley together.

  2. Chill and serve cold.
