Cheesy Herb Pinwheels

Ingredients:

  • 3 - cups Original Bisquick® mix
  • 1 - teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 - teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2/3 - cup water
  • 2 - Tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 - cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 - cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 - cup pizza sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425ºF. Grease cookie sheet.

  1. In a mixing bowl, mix Bisquick, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and water until dough forms.
  2. Turn dough onto surface dusted with Bisquick; gently roll in Bisquick to coat. Knead 10 times.
  3. Roll dough into 18x10-inch rectangle. Brush with melted butter.
  4. Sprinkle with cheeses. Tightly roll up dough; pinch edge to seal.
  5. Cut roll into eighteen 1-inch slices. Place on cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until golden.
  7. Heat pizza sauce until hot. Dip pinwheels into sauce.

Alan's Kitchen Tip: Substitution Out of Italian seasoning? Use 2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil instead.
