Arizona Chili Cheese Crisps

Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil
  • 4 - Soft Taco Flour Tortillas (8-inches)
  • 1 - cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 - cup Salsa drained
  • 1/4 - cup Diced Green Chilies
  • 1/4 - cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

  1. In large skillet, you want to heat 1 inch vegetable oil to 360º.
  2. Fry tortillas, one at a time, until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels. (Tortillas can be made ahead up to 8 hours. Cover loosely and let stand at room temperature.)
  3. Place tortillas on large baking sheet and sprinkle each with 1/4-cup shredded cheese, 2 tablespoons salsa, 1 tablespoon chilies and 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  5. To eat, break into pieces and enjoy.
