Slow Cooker Recipes from AlansKitchen.comSouthwest Hot Chip Dip

Makes 15 to 20 servings

Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: LOW 3 to 4 hrs. or HIGH for 1-1/2 hrs.

Ingredients:

  • 1 - pound ground beef, browned, crumbled fine and drained
  • 2 - cans (15-ounces) refried beans
  • 2 - cans (10-ounces) diced tomatoes and chilies
  • 1 - package taco seasoning
  • 1 - pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • Tortilla chips

Directions:

  1. In your slow cooker, you want to combine the ground beef, beans, tomatoes, and taco seasoning.
  2. You want to cover and cook on LOW for 3 to 4 hours or on HIGH for 1-1/2 hours.
  3. Add cheese and stir occasionally. You want to heat until the cheese is melted.
  4. Finally, serve with the tortilla chips.
