Barbecue & Grilling Recipes from AlansKitchen.comBarbecue Baby Back Ribs
Makes 6 servings

Prep Time: 1 hour
Grilling Time: 10 - 14 minutes

Ingredients

Directions

  1. I simmer my ribs in a deep pot of water.  

  2. Then I add my onion, salt, peppercorns, red pepper flakes.

  3. I cover and simmer for 50 minutes.

  4. Then I drain the ribs.

Prepare Grill to Medium Heat.

  1. On my hot grill, I place my ribs about 5 inches above the coals.  

  2. I cook them between 5 to 7 minutes per side or until they are lightly browned.

  3. Now, I brush my Bar-B-Q sauce over the ribs and make sure that I get all sides. 

  4. I keep grilling for 6 to 8 minutes per side.  I want my ribs tender and well glazed.

Alan's Kitchen Picnicking & Tailgating Tips
Cook the ribs on the stove before leaving.  Place in plastic bags and place in refrigerator.  Keep them in ice chest until ready to grill.  

When at the picnic or tailgate site, start the grill and cook.
