Smoky Maple-Barbecued Chicken
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- 4 - fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt (to taste)
- pepper (to taste)
- 1/4 - cup maple syrup
- 1/4 - cup barbecue sauce (your choice)
- 2 - Tablespoon mustard
- 1/4 - teaspoon liquid smoke
Directions
Preheat grill to medium-high, according to
manufacturer’s directions.
- Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper.
- In a
small bowl, add maple syrup, barbecue sauce, mustard and liquid smoke.
- Mix
and set aside.
- Grill chicken for 12 to 15 minutes or until
done (internal temp 170° F).
- Turn frequently and brush with sauce.
Place in ice chest.
When
the grill is ready, just take them out of the ice chest and grill.
