Barbecue & Grilling Recipes from AlansKitchen.comEssential Ribeye Steak
Makes 4 servings

In West Virginia, we had a restaurant and they were are neighbors, that owned a local steak house.  Their specialty was the ribeye.

Doing this recipe reminds me of my days back in West Virginia, before moving to Arizona.

Ingredients

Directions

Prepare a medium fire in your grill.

  1. Blend the olive oil and garlic in small mixing bowl.

  2. Brush the garlic oil on both sides of the steaks.

  3. Lightly sprinkle the steak with pepper.  I leave the salt off until the last.

  4. Place the steaks on a well oiled grill.
  5. Grill uncovered for 14 to 16 minutes.   Turn the steaks about every 5 minutes.  Your steaks should be medium done.
  6. Take steaks off the grill and cover loosely with foil.
  7. Let the steak's rest for 3 minutes before serving.
