Classic Mulled Cider

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: HIGH 30 minutes and LOW up to 5 hours

Ingredients

  • 1 - gallon apple cider
  • 1/3 - cup brown sugar
  • 15 - whole cloves
  • 10 - whole allspice berries
  • 5 - whole cinnamon sticks

Directions

  1. Into slow cooker add apple cider, brown sugar, cloves, allspice, and cinnamon.
  2. Cover and cook on HIGH for 30 minutes.
  3. Turn to LOW and cook for up to 5 hours.
  4. The longer you keep the spices in the cider, the stronger the "mulling".
