Holiday Season Eggnog
Makes 12 servings
Make this recipe a day or two ahead of
time. The mellowness from the
aging makes a great deal of difference in the flavor.
- In a mixing
add the egg yolks.
- Beat in the
sugar, salt, and fold in the egg whites.
the heavy cream, milk, whiskey, and rum.
- Blend well and refrigerate in a gallon container or jug, covered,
until ready to use.
- Shake or stir, pour
into a punch bowl, and ladle into small cups.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
