Apple Cinnamon Granola

Makes 12 servingsBreakfast & Brunch Recipes from AlansKitchn.com

Prep Time: 10 min.
Baking Time: 20 to 25 min.

Ingredients:

  •    4  cups rolled oats
  • 1/2  cup coconut
  •    1  cup nuts, finely chopped
  • 1/2  cup sesame seeds
  • 3/4  teaspoon salt
  •    1  teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2  cup honey
  • 1/3  cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2  teaspoon vanilla
  •    1  cup dried apples, finely cut

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F. and grease 2 cookie sheets.

  1. In a large bowl, mix oats, coconut, sesame seeds, salt, and cinnamon.  2) In a small bowl, combine honey, oil, and vanilla separately and the add to oats mixture. Mix thoroughly.

  2. Spread out on the 2 cookie sheets and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Cool, and then add the finely cut dried apples.  5) Store in tightly covered container.
