Black Forest Chicken Skillet

Cooking Time: 20 min.

Ingredients:

  • 4 - fresh boneless, skinless chicken breasts

  • 1 - teaspoon seasoned salt

  • 1 - small onion, chopped

  • 3 - medium potatoes, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

  • 1/4 - pound Black Forest ham, cut into thin strips

  • 3 - cup cabbage slaw mix

  • 1 - teaspoon caraway seed, crushed

Directions:

Sprinkle chicken with seasoned salt.

  1. Spray large nonstick skillet with nonstick cooking spray and heat to medium-high. 
  2. Now, add your chicken. 
  3. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until lightly browned. 
  4. You only need to turn once. 
  5. Remove from skillet.
  6. To the skillet, add the onion, potatoes, ham, slaw mix and caraway seed. 
  7. Mix well, then top with chicken. 
  8. Cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender and chicken is done (internal temp 170°F).
