Basic
Chili w/Tomatoes
Makes 4 to 5 servings.
Ingredients
Directions

In a hot large
skillet, add ground beef, onions, and green bell peppers.

You want the meat brown and the onions and bell peppers tender.

Drain the fat from the skillet.

Now add the
tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, cayenne and paprika.

Bring ingredients to a boil and then reduce heat.
Cover and simmer 2 hours.

You
want to stir the recipe every once in a while.

Now, add the beans.
-
Cover
and continue to cook 30 minutes to heat the beans.
Picnicking &
Tailgating
You can make the chili a day or two ahead of time.
Heat (on stove or in microwave) and pour into a thermos.
When you get to your picnic and tailgate party, it is nice and hot.
