Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 F.

  1. In mixing bowl, sift together the 2 cups flour the confectioners sugar.  Cut in margarine until mixture holds together.  Press in 12x9-inch baking pan and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.

  2. While baking, in a mixing bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, lemon juice.  Sift together the 1/4 cup flour and baking powder.  Stir into the egg mixture.

  3. Pour over baked crust.  Bake for 25 minutes.  Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Cool and cut into bars.
