Beef Roast
Makes 10 to 12 servings
Prep Time: 15 min.
Cooking Time: 2 hrs 45 min.
Ingredients:
- 1 - package (1-3/8 ounces)
dry onion soup mix
- 1 - chuck, sirloin, or
shoulder roast (5 to 6 pounds)
- 1 - can cream of mushroom
soup
- 1-1/2 - cups water
- 1/2 - teaspoon pepper
- 5 - medium potatoes, cut
in chunks
- 5 - carrots, cut in 2-inch
pieces
Directions:
- Sprinkle dry soup mix in
bottom of Dutch oven. Add roast, soup, water, and
pepper.
- Bring to a boil. Cover and
simmer 2 hours.
- Add potatoes and carrots.
Cook for 45 minutes or until tender.
