Fried Rattlesnake

Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt (to taste)

Freshly ground pepper (to taste)
- 8 rattlesnake rounds (about 1/2-pound)

Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
- In a shallow bowl, lightly beat eggs.
- In another shallow bowl, combine flour,
garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Rinse meat and pat dry.
- Dip in egg and coast with flour
mixture.
- To a large skillet, add 2-inches of
oil.
- Heat oil to 375° F or until 1-inch
bread cube turns golden brown in 40 seconds.
- Drop meat into hot oil.
- Cook until golden brown.
- Drain on pepper towels.
