I
preheat my oven to 350° F.
and grease and flour a 9x9x2-inch baking
pan.

In a medium saucepan
at medium heat, I mix the sugar, butter, and cocoa.
I cook the butter until it melts.
Then I remove the pan from the heat.

Now, I add the eggs
and vanilla. I use a wooden spoon to prepare this brownie recipe.
I lightly beat the mixture.

Finally, I add the
flour, milk, baking soda, and baking power.
I continue to beat until mixed.

I pour the mixture
into my baking pan.
Then I put the pan into the oven and
bake for
20 minutes.

I
check for doneness by inserting a toothpick in the
center. I
want it to come out clean.
I cool it on a wire rack.

Then I prepare my
frosting. See

I spread frosting over the brownie.
Then I sprinkle the top with almonds.
Then I cut into bars.
