Ingredients
- 1 - cup butter or margarine

1 - cup granulated sugar

1 - cup packed brown sugar

2 - eggs

2 - cups all-purpose flour, sifted

2 - teaspoons baking soda

1 - teaspoon baking powder

1/2 - teaspoon salt

2 - cups corn flakes
-
2 - cups quick cooking oats (uncooked)

1 - cup shredded coconut
-
1 - cup chopped dates
-
1 - teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F and grease baking
sheets.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter,
granulated and brown sugar until creamy.
- Add eggs and blend.
- In a large mixing
bowl, sift together, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add in
the corn flakes, and oats.
- Fold in the dry ingredients.
- Add dry
mixture to sugar mixture.
- Into sugar and flour mixture, add the coconut,
dates, and vanilla and mix well.
- Using a teaspoon, drop dough onto
prepared cookie sheet.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes.
- Allow to cool 1
minute before removing from cooling rack.
