Ingredients

3/4 - cup all-purpose flour

1/2 - teaspoon baking powder

1/8 - teaspoon baking soda

1/8 - teaspoon salt

1/3 - cup sugar

1 - cup milk chocolate chips

1/3 - cup brown sugar, packed

1 - cup quick oats

1/2 - cup white chips

1/2 - cup butter, softened

1 - egg, beat slightly

1 - teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Directions

I preheat my oven to 375 F.

  • Into a medium-mixing bowl, I sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.  

  • I like my flour aerated.  

  • This makes for a little fluffier cookie.

  • In a large mixing bowl, I begin to add the sugar, chips, brown sugar, flour mixture, oats and white chips.  

  • Then I add my wet ingredients of butter, egg, and vanilla extract. 

  • I stir the mixture until it is well mixed.

  • Next, I will use a teaspoon and drop rounded dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  

  • I want the dough about 2 inches apart.

  • I pop the cookies into the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

  • When the cookies are done, I remove from the oven and place the cookies on a wire rack and cool completely.
