Quick & Easy Chocolate Chip
Cherry Pie
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
Ingredients
1 - package (9 ounce) graham cracker crumb crust
1 - can (21 ounce) cherry pie filling
1 - Tablespoon cornstarch
1 - package (8 ounce) cream cheese, softened
1/4 - cup sugar
2 - eggs
1/2 - teaspoon almond extract
1/2 - teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 - cup semi-sweet chocolate or
mini - semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Prepare pie crust according to package directions. Preheat oven
to 350° F.
- In medium bowl, add pie filling and cornstarch.
- Stir until
blended.
- Then pour into crust.
- In medium bowl, add cream cheese,
sugar, eggs, almond extract and vanilla extract.
- Beat.
- Then pour
evenly over pie filling.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over top.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until almost set in center.
- Cool
completely on wire rack.
- Refrigerate until firm.
- Cover; refrigerate
leftover pie.
