Southern Pecan Pie
Ingredients:
- 1 - cup white corn syrup

1 - cup dark brown sugar, packed

1/3 - cup butter, melted

1-1/4 - cup pecans, shelled

3 - eggs

1 - teaspoon vanilla

1/4 - teaspoon salt

1 - unbaked 9-inch pie shell

whipped cream (optional)
-
ice cream (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In a medium mixing bowl, add the corn syrup, brown sugar, butter,
pecans, eggs, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
- Pour into pie shell and
put in oven to bake 45 to 50 minutes.
- Cool and top with whipped
cream or ice cream.
