Pecan Pie
Makes 8 servings

Ingredients

• 3 - eggs, slightly beaten

• 1/2 - cup brown sugar, firmly packed

• 1 - cup dark corn syrup

• 1/4 - teaspoon salt

• 1/2 - teaspoon vanilla

• 1 - cup coarsely chopped pecans

• 1 - unbaked 9-inch piecrust

•    Whip cream, unsweetened

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

1. In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, sugar, syrup, salt, vanilla, and pecans.  You spoon the ingredients into the 9-inch piecrust.

2. Bake 12 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees and continue cooking 30 minutes.

3. Chill and serve.  Garnish with whip cream.
