Spiced Bananas w/Rum

is a Bananas Foster Southwestern variation.
You want to use ripe bananas but not overly ripe with brown spots.
- Peel bananas and into half
medium heat, melt butter in a large skillet.
- Add the bananas (cut side down) and lightly brown on both
- Add the
sugar, rum, spices, and vanilla.
- Place bananas in a dish.
- Spoon the mixture over the bananas.
- Serve with a scope of vanilla ice cream.
