Ingredients:

- Tablespoon butter

cups onion, chopped

- Tablespoons buttermilk biscuit mix

cups water

can (6 ounces) tomato paste

teaspoon salt

teaspoon sugar

bay leaf
1/8
- cup jalapeno pepper
1/2
- cup celery,
chopped
1/2
- cup green bell
pepper, chopped

pounds frozen shrimp, thawed, shelled and cleaned
Directions:
-
In
a skillet, melt the butter, add the onion and cook slightly.
Add the biscuit mix and stir until well blended.

In
a mixing bowl, mix the water, tomato paste, salt, sugar, bay leaf, jalapeno,
celery and green pepper.

Add
to 3-1/2 to 4 quart slow
cooker
along with onion mixture.

Cook on LOW for 7 to 9 hours.

Add the shrimp during the last hour of cooking.
