Makes 2
(8-inch shells)
Ingredients:
- 2 - cups flour

3 - teaspoons salt

1/2 - cup shortening
-
5 - Tablespoons ice water
Directions:
- Sift the flour into a mixing
bowl with the
salt.
- Cut in the shortening by holding 2 knives
in the hand like scissors.
- Mix lightly, stirring with a fork while
adding water.
- Try to pour water on dry, floury parts of
the mixture.
Form into a ball with lightly
floured hands.
- Chill before using.
- Roll out on floured board,
lifting rolling pin instead of pushing, rolling always in one
direction.
