Brownies
Double
fudge brownies swirled with craftily functional
ribbons of cream cheese.
Ingredients
Prep Time: 15 min.
Baking Time: 36 to
39 min.
Chill Time: 2 hrs.
- 1 - package double fudge
brownie mix
-
1 - package (3 oz) cream
cheese, softened
-
3 - Tablespoon butter or
margarine, softened
-
3 - Tablespoon granulated
sugar
-
1 - large egg
-
1 - Tablespoon all-purpose
flour
-
1/2 - teaspoon vanilla
extract
Directions
Heat oven to
350° F.
Grease bottom of 8x8-inch pan.
- In
medium mixing bowl, you need to add the cream cheese
and butter.
- Beat until smooth.
- Now, stir in sugar,
egg, flour and vanilla.
- Again, you will beat until
smooth.
- Set aside.
Prepare brownie mix
according to package directions for cake-like
brownies.
- In prepared pan,
you will spread half of the brownie batter.
- Then
spoon the cream cheese mixture over batter.
- Now
spoon a dollops of remaining brownie batter over
top.
- With a knife or spatula, you will swirl brownie
and cream cheese batter together.
- Bake for 36 to 39
minutes or until set.
- Cool completely.
- Chill 2
hours.
