Chili Bean Pita Pizzas

Makes 4 servings

Prep Time: 10 min.
Baking Time: 12 min.

Ingredients:

  • 4 round (7 to 8-inch) pita pockets (plain or whole wheat)

  • Pizza
  • Salsa

Quick Easy Directions:

Preheat oven to 400-degrees F.

  1. Place your pita breads on a large baking sheet.

  2. Spread about 1/2-cup of chili over each pita bread and sprinkle with Jack cheese.

  3. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until heated through and the pitas are crisp on the bottom.

  4. In a small bowl, you want to mix the tomato, onion, avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.

  5. Remove the pita pizzas from the oven. 

  6. Top with sour cream and salsa.  Serve warm and enjoy.
