Apple Glazed Pork Chop

Makes 4 servings

Prep Time: 10 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min.
Total Time: 30 min.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 - cup Apple Jelly
  • 1/4 - teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1 - teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 - teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 - small baking apples, cored and sliced
  • 4 - (1-inch thick) pork chops

Directions

Preheat broiler

  1. In a saucepan, combine jelly, allspice, cinnamon and cloves.  Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until jelly melts.  Keep warm.

  2. PLACE pork chops on rack in broiler pan.  Broil 5 inches from heat, for 7 minutes on each side.

  3. REMOVE from oven. Brush one side with jelly glaze and broil for 3 minutes.  Flip and brush other side with glaze.  Top with apple slices, and drizzle with remaining glaze. Broil for 3 minutes.  Serve immediately.
