Sesame-Crusted Turkey
Tenderloins
Makes 4 servings
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 - cup sesame seeds (toasted)
- 1/4 - cup olive oil
- 1 - garlic clove (minced)
- 1 - Tablespoon fresh chives (chopped)
- 1 - Tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 - teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 - teaspoon grated fresh ginger
- 1/2 - teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 - turkey tenderloins (cut in half)
- Creamy Wine
Sauce
- Hot cooked noodle
- Lemon slices (garnish)
- Parsley (garnish)
Directions:
- In a shallow bowl, you want to stir
together sesame seeds, olive oil, garlic, chives, soy sauce, lemon
juice, ginger, and sesame oil.
- Dredge turkey in sesame seed mixture.
- Place on a greased rack in a broiler
pan.
- Broil 5-1/2-inches from heat for 12 minutes
on each side or until done.
- Swerve with wine sauce over hot cooked
noodles.
- If you want, garnish with lemon slices
and parlsey.
Creamy Wine
Sauce
Makes 3/4 cup
Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 15 min.
Ingredients:
- 1 - cup fruity white wine*
- 2 - teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/4 - cup whipping cream
- 2 - Tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/3 - cup butter or margarine
Directions:
- In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add
wine and lemon juice. Bring to a oil for 6 to 8 minutes or until
mixture is reduced by half.
- Whisk in cream and cook for 3 to 4
minutes or until thickened. (Whisk constantly)
- Reduce heat to simmer, and whisk in soy
sauce and butter until butter is melted.
* Alan's Kitchen Tip: you may substitute
white grape juice for wine.
