Sesame-Crusted Turkey Tenderloins
Makes 4 servings

Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 20 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 - cup sesame seeds (toasted)
  • 1/4 - cup olive oil
  • 1 - garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 - Tablespoon fresh chives (chopped)
  • 1 - Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 - teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 - teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 - teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 - turkey tenderloins (cut in half)
  • Creamy Wine Sauce
  • Hot cooked noodle
  • Lemon slices (garnish)
  • Parsley (garnish)

Directions:

  1. In a shallow bowl, you want to stir together sesame seeds, olive oil, garlic, chives, soy sauce, lemon juice, ginger, and sesame oil.
  2. Dredge turkey in sesame seed mixture.
  3. Place on a greased rack in a broiler pan.
  4. Broil 5-1/2-inches from heat for 12 minutes on each side or until done.
  5. Swerve with wine sauce over hot cooked noodles.
  6. If you want, garnish with lemon slices and parlsey.

Creamy Wine Sauce
Makes 3/4 cup

Prep Time: 5 min.
Cooking Time: 15 min.

Ingredients:

  • 1 - cup fruity white wine*
  • 2 - teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 - cup whipping cream
  • 2 - Tablespoons soy  sauce
  • 1/3 - cup butter or margarine

Directions:

  1. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, add wine and lemon juice.  Bring to a oil for 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture is reduced by half.
  2. Whisk in cream and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until thickened.  (Whisk constantly)
  3. Reduce heat to simmer, and whisk in soy sauce and butter until butter is melted.

* Alan's Kitchen Tip: you may substitute white grape juice for wine.
