Ingredients

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. and grease muffin pans.

  1. In a mixing bowl, sift together the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. 
  2. In a large mixing bowl, add the egg, milk, and butter and beat. 
  3. Gradually add in the cornmeal-flour mixture to the milk mixture.
  4. Pour batter into muffin pans. 
  5. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
