Ingredients
- 3 - cups graham flour

1 - cup whole-wheat flour

4 - teaspoons baking powder

1/4 - teaspoon salt

1 - cup sugar

1 - egg, beaten

1 - Tablespoon table syrup

1-1/2 - cup milk
-
1 - cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease and flour
two loaf pans.
- In
a mixing bowl, sift together the graham flour, whole-wheat,
baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Mix sugar and eggs into
the flour mixture.
- Next, stir in the syrup
and milk and mix all ingredients.
- Dredge the walnuts in
flour and add to the mixture.
- Pour batter into two loaf
pans (3-1/2 x 7-1/2 inches).
- Let stand a few minutes to
rise.
- Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
