Egg Bread

Makes 2servings. Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.com

Ingredients

  • 2 - Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 - cup milk
  • 2 - slices bread
  • 1/8 - teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 - teaspoon pepper

Directions:

  1. In a skillet at moderate heat, add shortening, mix the eggs with milk and pour into the skillet.

  2. Place the bread slices in the skillet and scramble the eggs around and on the bread.

  3. You want the bread browned. Add the salt, pepper and serve.
