Oyster Patties

Ingredients:

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F.

  • In a double boiler, add the milk and cream and heat to just the boiling point. 
  • Add butter. 
  • Rub the flour smooth with a little cold milk, stir into the hot mil to thicken. Set aside.
  • Heat the oysters in water until they are plump. 
  • Salt and pepper. 
  • Add the hot milk mixture, pour into patty shells. 
  • Bake for 1/2-hr or until crust browns.
