Beef Liver and Onions

Ingredients

1-1/2 - pounds beef liver

2 - Tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 - teaspoon salt
-
1/4 - teaspoon pepper
-
1/2 - cup bacon drippings
-
4 - cups onions, sliced
Directions

In a mixing bowl, mix the flour, salt, and pepper.

Dredge the beef
livers.

In a skillet at moderate heat, add 1/4- cup bacon drippings and
quickly brown the liver on all sides.

Remove and keep warm.

In the skillet at moderate heat, add 1/4-cup bacon and sauté the
onions until golden brown.
-
Into the skillet with the sautéed onions,
return the beef livers and cook for an additional 5 minutes and serve.
