Beef with
Onions
Makes 4 servings.
Ingredients

2 - Tablespoons vegetable oil

2 - large onions, finely chopped

2 - Tablespoons all-purpose flour

2 - cups beef stock
-
1 - Tablespoon vinegar
-
1 - teaspoon salt
-
1/4 - teaspoon pepper

2 - pounds stew beef, cubed
Directions

In a frying pan at moderate heat, add oil and
onions.

Sauté onions until brown.

Add the flour and blend.

Reduce heat to low and gently simmer.

Add stock, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
-
Increase heat to moderate and bring onion
mixture to a boil.

Add the beef and cook for 30 minutes or until
meat is tender.
