Apple Pudding
Makes 4 servings

3 or 4 - apples
1 - cup sugar
2 - Tablespoon butter
1/3 - cup milk
1 - egg
1/2 - cup flour plus 2 tablespoon
3/4 - teaspoon baking powder
1/8 - teaspoon salt
1 - teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven 350� F. Butter baking dish.

  • Peel and slice the apples. 
  • Spread the apples across tile bottom of baking dish. 
  • Sprinkle with 6 tablespoons of the sugar and the cinnamon.
  • Cream balance of sugar with butter, adding beaten egg and milk. 
  • Sift flour, baking powder, and salt into the bowl, and mix batter. 
  • Pour over apples. 
  • Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and bake for 40 to 45 minutes. 
  • Serve with a pitcher of heavy cream.
