Apple Pie

Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.comMakes 1 (9-inch) pie

Prep Time: 15 min
Baking Time: 1 hr

Ingredients:

  •    1  unbaked (9-inch) shell with top crust

  •    6  cups apples, peeled and sliced

  • 3/4  cup sugar

  • 1/4  cup flour

  •    1  teaspoon cinnamon

  •    3  Tablespoons water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 F.

  1. Into unbaked pie shell, pour apples.  In a bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, and water.

  2. Stir until smooth and pour over apples.  Cover with top crust and seal edges.

  3. Bake for 1 hour.
