Red Raspberry Jam
Pennsylvania Dutch Cooking from AlansKitchen.comMakes 6 (6-ounce) glasses

Ingredients

  • 1 - cup water

  • 4 - cups sugar

  • 4 - cups red raspberries, crushed

Directions

  1. In a saucepan at moderate-high heat, add the water and sugar. 

  2. Boil until syrup threads. 

  3. Add the raspberries and cook rapidly while stirring for 20 minutes or until mixture thickens. 

  4. Place in hot jars and cool.  Seal with paraffin.
