Creamed Cabbage

Ingredients:

• 1/2  cabbage, thinly sliced
•    2  cups water, boiling
• 1/2  cup cream
•    2  Tablespoons butter
• 1/2  teaspoon salt
• 1/4  teaspoon pepper

Directions:

• In a deep skillet at moderate heat, place the cabbage and cover with water.
• Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
• Pour out the water and add the cream, butter, salt, and pepper.
• Cook for 3 minutes. Serve hot.
