- In a skillet at moderate heat, melt
butter.
- Add in the potatoes and onions into the
skillet.
- Cover skillet and fry potatoes and onions
until they are almost brown on one side.
- Uncover, turn, and stir. Cover skillet
again.
- Wait until the potatoes and onions are
almost brown and add the celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Cover again and keep frying until there
is a crust on the bottom, but not burned.
