Taylor County is a county located in the U.S. state of West
Virginia. As of 2000, the population is 16,089. Its county seat is Grafton.
Named for Sen. John Taylor of Caroline, it was formed in 1844.
Taylor County is part of the Clarksburg,
WV Micropolitan Statistical Area.
