FORT TUTHILL COUNTY PARK
Exit 337 off I-17, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001
The historic Fort Tuthill County Park is nestled
in cool Ponderosa pines 3 miles south of Flagstaff. The 411-acre
regional park is the home of the annual Coconino County Fair (Labor
Day weekend) and Coconino County Horse Races (4th of July weekend)
and the nationally-awarded Pine Mountain Amphitheater. It also
features a a Military Museum, campground, picnic areas, tennis courts
and scenic trails. In the summer Fort Tuthill is bustling with a
variety of special events, camping, and picnicking.
Amphitheater - performing arts, concerts, and
weddings
Coconino County Fairgrounds - shows, festivals, and fairs
Grandstands/Race Track - rodeos, horse shows, and horse races
Posse Arena - ropings and gymkhanas
Trails - 6.5 miles of trail open to hikers, mountain bikers, and
equestrians
Five picnic ramadas can be reserved for private
parties and family get-togethers, and overnight camping and horse
stalls are also available.
Peaks View County Park
Overlooking the breath-taking San Francisco Peaks,
Peaks Vew County Park features a playground, picnic areas, hiking
and equestrian trails, and the latest in sports fields - a
state-of-the-art artificial turf for year-round enjoyment.
Peaks View County Park is located in Doney Park
(east of Flagstaff), just south of the Summit Firestation and
adjacent to Cromer Elementary School, on Koch Field Road.

UPCOMING IMPROVEMENTS
Residents of Kachina Village & Mountainare can
expect improvements in Raymond County Park.
Coconino County, through the Parks &
Recreation Department, received a $766,669 grant award from the
Arizona State Parks Heritage Fund. This grant, combined with
Coconino Parks & Open Space (CPOS) funds will result in the
following improvements worth $1.3 million:
New amenities including a restroom building,
picnic ramadas, a swing set, a playground, a new basketball court,
new paved access from Kachina Trail, picnic tables, BBQ grills and
landscaping
Improvements to the existing ball field, parking
lot & drainage
Additional trails and sidewalks within the park
SAWMILL MULTICULTURAL ART AND NATURE COUNTY PARK

Sawmill Multicultural Art & Nature County Park
was built on a "brownfield" where one of Flagstaff's first
sawmills operated from 1908 to 1993. Its backyard wildlife habitat
gardens show how a contaminated industrial site can be transformed
into an environmental and aesthetic amenity. Its public art
celebrates the diversity of the surrounding community.
Other park amenities include picnic areas, a
playground, and a connection to the Flagstaff Urban Trail System by
the Rio de Flag.
CATARACT LAKE COUNTY PARK & CAMPGROUND
1500/1510 North Country Club Road, Williams, Arizona 86046
County Park & Campground is a 15-acre wooded
campground bordering Cataract Lake. It features 25 wooded, rustic
camping sites and leisure fishing.
To reach the park from Flagstaff, travel west on
Interstate 40 past Williams. Take the Golf Course/Cataract Lake exit
and turn right. Travel approximately one-half mile; the campground
is on the right.
Amenities include restrooms and picnic ramadas
(available on a first-come, first served basis and are for day use
only)
Camping (14-day stay limit) is available May 1
through September 30.
No hook ups available; fishing license required
Louise Yellowman
County Park - the first and only community park in Tuba
City
Main and Moenave Streets, Tuba City, Arizona 86045
Louise Yellowman County Park (LYCP) features a
state of the art skate/ bicycle park, basketball court, playground
equipment, group pavilion, shade ramadas, picnic tables, barbecue
grills, drinking fountain, and a restroom. Facilities are also
available for private and public events.
