Hualapai Mountain Park

Hualapai Mountain Park offers the perfect picnic setting.  Besides picnicking, Hualapai Mountain Park presents many diverse activities for the whole family including hiking, camping, or spending the night in one of their rustic cabins.  Covering over 2,300 acres with elevations ranging from 4984 feet to 8417, visitors share a unique setting in the cool, clear, green refreshment of the pine country.

You can rent Picnic Kits for a day. Each kit contains volleyball net and ball, softball bats, balls, and bases, a soccer ball, and a set of horseshoes.

The name Hualapai means "Pine Tree Folk."  The Haulapia’s were the Indian tribe that once called these mountains home.  The US Army relocated the tribe in the 1870's.

The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) first developed Hualapai Mountain Park during the early 1930’s.  The roads, trails, picnic, and camping areas, along with the stone cabins and pavilions, are still much as they were 60 years ago.  This helps to give the park a unique character.
