 The
Glen Park is nestled along Rattling Creek near the borough of
Lykens. Get out and explore this beautiful park in its wintertime
splendor. Park amenities include two open-air picnic pavilions
which are available for rent, a sand volleyball court and a tot
lot.
Facilities and Overview
Through a long-term lease with the Borough
of Lykens, the County maintains and operates this beautiful 51
acre area of steep mountain slopes and the tumbling Rattling
Creek. Two picnic pavilions, a sand volleyball court, a
playground, a creek side walk and scattered benches make this park
an oasis of Central Pennsylvania beauty and a favorite to witness
fall colors.
Location
From Main Street in downtown Lykens turn
south on Market Street. Go four blocks, cross the creek and bear
left onto Park View / Powells Valley Road.
