Town of Vienna, VA Parks

GLYNDON PARK (300 Glyndon Street, NE) is located on the north side of Maple Avenue on Glyndon Street. This 11 acre park has two lighted tennis courts, basketball court, ball field, picnic area with pavilion, playground equipment, walking trails and restrooms. 

There are three parking lots and three sheltered areas. The park pavilion which has a capacity of 75, eight tables and one grill, may be reserved for picnics by contacting the Community Center.
Open: Daylight to Dusk except for tennis courts.

Directions to Glyndon Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Right at fourth light onto Rt. 123 (Maple Ave.) Left at sixth light onto Glyndon St., through one stop sign, park entrance on right.

MEADOW LANE PARK (400 Courthouse Road, SW) is located on the corner of Meadow Lane, Ware St. and Courthouse Rd. 

This 3.43 acre park has two-lighted tennis courts, basketball court, ball field, playground equipment, restrooms, and pavilion. 

The park pavilion which has a capacity of 75, eight tables and one grill, may be reserved for picnics by contacting the Community Center.
Open: Daylight to Dusk - except for tennis and basketball courts.

Directions to Meadow Lane Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Right on Courthouse Rd. to right on Ware St., park entrance to right on Meadow Lane.

NORTHSIDE PARK is located at the end of Glyndon Street on the north side of Maple Avenue. This 26.58 acre park is undeveloped, but is a pleasant area for nature walks and family picnics if one can do without restrooms.

Directions to Northside Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Right at fourth light on Rt. 123 (Maple Ave.) follow to left on Glyndon St., to end of road. Park is on right. Or take left on Center St. to right on Mill St., cross W&OD Trail.

SOUTHSIDE PARK (1315 Ross Drive, SW) is located on Ross Drive and is the site for Babe Ruth baseball, men’s slow-pitch and coed softball and youth football games. 

Playground equipment, a sand volleyball court, a basketball court and restroom facilities are also available at this park. This 17.25 acre park has two parking lots and one shelter. There are no reservable areas.
Open: Daylight to Dusk - except for scheduled programs.

Directions to Southside Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Right at fourth light onto Rt. 123 (Maple Ave.). Make right on Courthouse Rd. Make next left onto Locust St. Make next right onto Cottage St. Follow Cottage St. about two miles, make right onto Ross Dr.

BRANCH ROAD TOT LOT is located at the intersection of Locust Street and Branch Road SE. This .62 acre park has playground equipment for children ages 2-5. T here are no restrooms at this park.

Directions to the Branch Road Tot Lot: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Right at fourth light on Rt. 123 (Maple Ave.) follow to Right on Branch Rd. Park entrance is about one block on the left past shopping center.

PETERSON LANE PARK is located on Malcolm Rd. NW and is jointly operated and owned by the Town of Vienna and the Fairfax County Park Authority. This 5.45 acre park has a playground, basketball court, open fields, walkways and a parking lot.

Directions to Peterson Lane Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, follow Nutley across Maple Ave. to a left on Malcolm Rd. entrance is about one block on the right.

MOOREFIELD PARK is located at 700 Courthouse Road adjacent to Nottoway Park. This 9.99 acre park has on-site parking with walking trails connecting to Nottoway Park. This is also the site of the Vienna Dog Park.

Directions to Moorefield Park: From Capital Beltway, to Rt. 66 to Nutley St. Exit, Vienna, Follow Nutley to a Left on Courthouse Rd. Park entrance is about one block on the left.

VIENNA DOG PARK is located at 700 Courthouse Road. This new off-leash dog park is situated in Moorefield Park. The fenced 90 x 150 area is shaded with on-site water. Owners and dogs must follow posted rules and regulations. 

Dogs must be licensed by the Town of Vienna or Fairfax County. The park is open from dawn to dusk. Please respect others by following the posted rules and picking up after your dog. To find out more about the Vienna Dog Park.

SARAH WALKER MERCER PARK is located at 247 Nutley Street NW. This new neighborhood park is situated on the corner of Nutley and Knoll Street. 

The park is approximately 3/4 acre with a walking paths, seating areas, rain garden, lawn area and lush landscaping. Dedicated in November 2007, this park was the former site of the Public Works property yard. The park is for passive use.

RESERVATION FEES

Shelters are available for groups of up to 75 individuals.
Town of Vienna Groups: $25 for a maximum 5 hours
Out of Town Groups: $50 for a maximum 5 hours
There is a $25 key deposit for use of the restrooms.
