Parks & Facilities
HARRISON COUNTY RECREATION COMPLEX/4-H CENTER
Located on Rt. 19 South of Clarksburg. This facility will have limited
use as the new Harrison County Recreation Complex project becomes a
reality.
COMMUNITY PARK
Located on Rt. 19 just South of Clarksburg. Facilities include (2)
tennis courts, basketball court, playground equipment, and 2 picnic
shelters. All facilities are available on a first come first served
basis.
SPELTER PARK
Located in the Community of Spelter off of Rt. 19; approximately
7-miles North of Clarksburg and 4-miles South of Shinnston. This park
is being redone.
WALLACE PARK
Located in the Community of Wallace off of Rt. 20 approximately
19-miles west of Clarksburg. Facilities include baseball field,
basketball court and playground equipment. Facilities available on a
first come first served basis.
COOPERATIVE FACILITY USE
SUMMIT PARK RECREATION COMPLEX
Operated in cooperation with the Summit Park Association. Located in
the Community of Summit Park off old Rt. 50. Facilities include 3-ball
fields, playground areas and concessions. The ball fields are
available on a reservation basis and have been the home of T-Ball,
Little League Baseball, Girl's Softball, Men's Softball, Youth Soccer
and Babe Ruth League practices.
GORE BALL FIELDS
Located off of Rt. 19 behind Gore Middle School and across from United
Career Center. Operated in cooperation with the Board of Education and
local youth baseball and softball organizations. The ball fields are
available on a reservation basis.
