Fruit Salad Lanai

Ingredients
1 - fresh pineapple
1 - firm, large banana
1 - orange
1 - pear
Mint sprigs
1/4 - cup chopped chutney
3 - Tablespoon lime juice
2 - Tablespoon red bell pepper, chopped
1 - Tablespoon vegetable oil
2 - teaspoon candied ginger, chopped
1/4 - teaspoon curry powder
Directions
- Cut your pineapple in half
lengthwise through crown.
- Then cut fruit from shells with
knife leaving shells intact.
- Then, cut fruit into chunks.
- Peel and slice banana, section
orange.
- Core and slice pear.
- Arrange pineapple, banana, orange
and pear in pineapple boats.
- Garnish with mint.
- The dressing first begins with a
bowl or screw-top jar.
- Then add the chutney, bell pepper,
vegetable oil, candied ginger, and curry.
- You then want to stir together
until blended.
- Serve with salad.
Picnicking
& Tailgating
Place the chilled salad in
a plastic contain and place in your ice chest for storage until getting to
the picnic.
