Autumn Fruit Salad
Makes 8 to 10 servings

Cooling Time: 1 hr.
Ingredients:
- Dressing:
- 1-1/2 - cups
sugar
- 1/2 cup
all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 - cups
water
- 1 - teaspoon
margarine
- 1 - teaspoon
vanilla
- Salad:
- 6 - cups
apples, unpeeled & cubed
- 2 - cups red
grapes, halved
- 1 - cup
diced celery
- 1 - cup
walnuts
Directions:
Dressing
- In a saucepan,
combine sugar and flour. Stir in water and
bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 15 minutes
or until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat
and stir in margarine and vanilla
- Cool to room
temperature for about 1/2 hour.
Salad
- In a large bowl,
you want to combine apples, grapes, celery,
and walnuts.
- Add dressing and
toss gently.
- Refrigerate
until ready to serve.
