Tossed Turkey Waldorf Salad
Makes
4 servings
Prep time: 40 min.
Chilling time: 30 min.
Ingredients
- 2 - cups cooked turkey,
cubed
- 1 - cup celery, diced
- 1 - cup red apple, cubed
- 1 - cup green apple,
cubed
- 1/2 - cup Golden raisins
and or dried cherries or cranberries
- 1/4 - cup Minced green
onions or chives
- 1/2 - cup Ranch Light
Dressing
- 2 - teaspoons Fresh lemon
or lime juice
- 2 - teaspoons Honey
- Butter lettuce
- Garnish: Candied, glazed,
or honey roasted nuts
Directions:
- In a bowl, add turkey,
celery, apples, raisins, and green onion. Toss
together.
- In a small bowl, whisk
together the dressing, juice and honey.
- Coat the salad
ingredients with the dressing mixture.
- Pile on a bed of butter
lettuce.
- For best results, chill
before serving.
- Just before serving,
sprinkle with nuts.
