Cheese and Turkey Salad

Makes 4 servingsSalad

Prep Time: 10 min.
Chilling Time: 1-2 hrs.

Ingredients

  • Salad
    • 1 - package (5-ounce) mixed salad greens
    • 1/4 - pound slice Deli Provolone Cheese, cubed 1/2 inch*
    • 1/4 - pound slice deli smoked turkey breast, cut into julienne strips
    • 1/2 - cup pitted ripe olives
    • 4 - pepperoncini peppers
    • 1 - tomato, cut into wedges
    • 1 - thin slice red onion, separated into rings
  • Dressing
    • 1/2 - cup zesty Italian dressing
    • Freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, place salad ingredients (mixed salad greens, Provolone Cheese, turkey breast, olives, pepperoni, tomato, and red onion. Toss lightly. Divide salad among 4 resealable plastic food containers.

  2. Pour 2 tablespoons dressing into each of 4 small resealable plastic food containers. Cover each container. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours or until serving time.

  3. Just before serving, pour 1 container dressing over 1 container salad. Toss lightly. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

*Substitute 1/4 pound slice Deli American Cheese, cubed 1/2 inch.
