Green Chile Dip
Makes 4 servings.

Ingredients

1/2 - cup cottage cheese

1 - green onion (include top), diced

1/4 - cup green chiles, diced

2 - tablespoons parsley, chopped

2 - tablespoons cilantro, chopped

1/4 - teaspoon oregano

1/8 - teaspoon onion salt

Directions
  • You can use a food processor or blender.
  • I preferred the smoothness a blender provides.  Just add the cottage cheese, onion, green chiles, parsley, cilantro, oregano, an onion salt to food processor or blender.
  • You want the consistency to be smooth.
  • Pour into a plastic container and cover.
  • Put in refrigerator and chill for one hour.

Picnicking & Tailgating:

Keep in refrigerator until you are ready to pack your ice chest.  Place in ice chest.  At your picnic, open and let everyone enjoy this with potato chips, corn chips, or fresh vegetables.
